According to multiple reports, singer Zayn Malik and super model Gigi Hadid have broken up after reports claim that he and Gigi's mother Yolanda Hadid got into an argument and he struck her.

Malik posted a lengthy note on his Twitter in which he asked for privacy at this time for both him and his daughter Khai. Gigi and Malik have zealously guarded their daughter's privacy and have never posted a picture showing her face online.
“This was and still should be a private matter but it seems for now there is divisiveness and despite my efforts to restore us to a peaceful family environment that will allow for me to co-parent my daughter in a manner in which she deserves, this has been ‘leaked’ to the press,” wrote Zayn.
