France will send medical equipment, ventilators, oxygen and eight oxygen generators to India, its President Emmanuel Macron said on Tuesday.

Expressing solidarity with India, Macron mentioned in his Facebook post that each generator can make a hospital self-sufficient for 10 years by producing oxygen from the ambient air.

"Solidarity is at the heart of our nation. It is at the center of friendship between our countries.
We will win together," the French President said in a post written in Hindi.

Earlier in the day, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal stated that the government is importing 21 ready-to-use Oxygen plants from France.
