FM likely to announce Covid relief package for economy, here is what to expect

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will address a press conference at 3 pm today and the wide expectation is that an economic relief package will be announced 

Reports indicate that that the new measures may include a scheme to promote health infrastructure in tier 2 cities, and an increased Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme (ECLGS) limit of Rs 4.5 lakh crore.

The govt has already announced measures totalling Rs 29 lakh crore as per the statements made by Finance Minister in November 2020.
