FM Nirmala Sitharaman announced a mega package to boost health and medical infrastructure especially outside the main 8 metros. The Finance Minister announced the following -:
- Loan guarantee scheme of Rs 50,000 crore for health sector
- Loan guarantee to cover 75% of loan in aspirational districts and 50% coverage in other regions
- Maximum loan of Rs 100 crore will be provided for three years
- Interest rate will be capped at 7.95%
