'Fast & Furious' star Luke Evans joins Tom Hanks' 'Pinocchio'

'Fast & Furious' star Luke Evans has joined Tom Hanks for Disney’s live-action remake 'Pinocchio'. Evans will star alongside Hanks, who will be seen essaying the role of Geppetto in the upcoming movie. Based on the 1940 animated film, Pinocchio tells the story of a wooden puppet who wishes to become a real boy after being created by Geppetto. Filmmaker Robert Zemeckis who previously worked with Hanks on films like 'Forrest Gump', 'Cast Away' and 'Polar Express', will helm the project.
