'Fast & Furious 9', 'The Forever Purge' release date postponed in India

The release date of host of Hollywood movies, including 'Fast & Furious 9' in India has been delayed by two weeks, Universal Pictures has announced.

The latest chapter in 'The Fast Saga' starring Vin Deisel, John Cena among others will now hit Indian theatres on August 19.

Not just this, the studio has also announced that 'Promising Young Woman' featuring Carey Mulligan will release on August 6 in India.

Animated feature 'The Croods: A New Age', a sequel to 2013 hit of the same name, will debut in Indian theatres on August 17 along with Bob Odenkirk-starrer 'Nobody'.

Two weeks later, 'The Boss Baby: Family Business', a follow-up to 2017's animated hit 'The Boss Baby', will be released on September 10.

The studio is also bringing 'The Forever Purge', the fifth and final film in the 'Purge' franchise, on September 17.
