'Farmers won't leave': Rahul meets President over farm laws

Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi, Ghulam Nabi Azad & Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury on Thursday met President Ram Nath Kovind to seek his intervention in the issue of farmers protests. The Congress leaders had earlier planned a march from Vijay Chowk to Rashtrapati Bhavan but Delhi Police didn't allow it citing Section 144. After the meeting, Rahul Gandhi said that he told the President that these farm laws are anti-farmer. "The country has seen that farmers have stood up against these laws and the govt must withdraw them".
