5-member team of senior Delhi Police officers held a meeting with protesting farmers ahead of the monsoon session of the Parliament on Monday. The farmers plan to protests outside the Parliament House every day during the session as part of their agitation against the Centre's controversial farm laws.

Farmer leaders said that 200 farmers will be present outside the Parliament every day and that they will carry identification cards. The farmers were asked to reduce the number of protesters but they have refused.
The police has asked Delhi Metro to keep extra vigil at seven metro stations & close them if needed, in view of farmers' protest.
