Facebook has come under fire for blocking FB and insta pages being used by farmers protesting against the new farm laws. Managers of Kisan Ekta Morcha, the biggest pages being used for the movement, said their page was removed by Facebook citing community standards on spam. The group's insta page als face similar action. The pages were restored around three hours later. According to the protesters, the curbs came just after a live broadcast by Swaraj India chief Yogendra Yadav where he announced that the farmers will take part in an indefinite, relay hunger strike starting Monday.
