In a first, scientists have described how one single organ was used by dinosaurs to defecate, urinate and have sex.
The team from the University of Bristol said while most mammals have separate holes for bodily functions, many others have just one which is called the cloaca. And the team was able to study the cloacal vent region from a small Labrador-sized dinosaur's fossilised remains.
The analysis confirms that dinosaurs did have a cloaca but it doesn't look like that of any other living animals.
The study published in the journal Current Biology also suggests that the giant animals had penetrative sex and possibly had bendy penises.
