Los Angeles, Sep 2 (PTI) English actor Warwick Davis is set to return as Professor Filius Flitwick in the much-anticipated "Harry Potter" series, as announced by HBO.
Davis captured fans' hearts with his portrayal of the Charms Master at Hogwarts across all eight "Harry Potter" films, adapted from J.K. Rowling’s bestselling books. He also played the role of Griphook, a goblin from Gringotts Wizarding Bank. The latter role will now be taken over by Leigh Gill.
In a recent Instagram post, HBO shared a photo of Davis on the iconic Hogwarts Express, exciting fans with his return. The network also confirmed new cast members for the series: Elijah Oshin will play Dean Thomas, while Finn Stephens and William Nash will appear as Draco Malfoy's sidekicks, Vincent Crabbe and Gregory Goyle.

Guided by showrunner-writer Francesca Gardiner and director Mark Mylod, the series is poised for a 2027 premiere on HBO and HBO Max.
