On its fifth day, Tuesday, the film garnered an impressive Rs 25.75 crore, pushing its total earnings to a formidable Rs 171.28 crore. This represents a 2% increase from its Day 4 collection of Rs 24 crore, highlighting its strong audience appeal.
The film had a phenomenal start, raking in Rs 31 crore on its opening day, with the momentum surging to Rs 39.30 crore on Day 2 and reaching a peak of Rs 48.5 crore on Day 3.
Even on its first Monday, traditionally a slower day for cinema collections, 'Chhaava' managed to secure Rs 24.10 crore, showcasing its sustained popularity.
Directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan under the Maddock Films banner, 'Chhaava' brings to life the story of Maratha king Sambhaji, brought to the screen by Vicky Kaushal.
