The historical epic 'Chhaava', starring Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna, is making waves at the box office, showcasing remarkable growth as it progresses.

On its fifth day, Tuesday, the film garnered an impressive Rs 25.75 crore, pushing its total earnings to a formidable Rs 171.28 crore. This represents a 2% increase from its Day 4 collection of Rs 24 crore, highlighting its strong audience appeal.

The film had a phenomenal start, raking in Rs 31 crore on its opening day, with the momentum surging to Rs 39.30 crore on Day 2 and reaching a peak of Rs 48.5 crore on Day 3.

Even on its first Monday, traditionally a slower day for cinema collections, 'Chhaava' managed to secure Rs 24.10 crore, showcasing its sustained popularity.

Directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan under the Maddock Films banner, 'Chhaava' brings to life the story of Maratha king Sambhaji, brought to the screen by Vicky Kaushal. Rashmika Mandanna stars as Maharani Yesubai, while Akshaye Khanna portrays Aurangzeb. The ensemble cast also features Ashutosh Rana as Sarsenapati Hambirao Mohite and Divya Dutta as Soyarabai.

The narrative of the film is adapted from the cherished Marathi novel 'Chhava' by Shivaji Sawant. Enhancing this cinematic experience is a compelling music score by the legendary A. R. Rahman, with evocative lyrics penned by Irshad Kamil.

'Chhaava' continues to captivate audiences, solidifying its position as a major success at the box office.
