Actor Sushmita Sen has shared a post on Instagram revealing that she underwent angioplasty after she suffered a heart attack a couple of days back. She said she has a stent in place and her cardiologist reconfirmed that she does have a ‘big heart.’
Sharing a picture with her father Subir Sen, Sushmita wrote, ‘Keep your heart happy & courageous, and it’ll stand by you when you need it the most Shona (Wise words by my father @sensubir ). I suffered a heart attack a couple of days back…Angioplasty done…stent in place…and most importantly, my cardiologist reconfirmed ‘I do have a big heart’. Lots of people to thank for their timely aid & constructive action…will do so in another post! On the work front, Sushmita Sen is gearing up for the third season of the Disney Plus Hotstar series ‘Aarya’. The show marked Sen’s comeback to acting after a hiatus of five years. She also has the web series ‘Taali’ in the pipeline, which will feature her as transgender activist Gauri Sawant.
