Ram Charan is one of the most talented actors in the Indian film industry. He made his acting debut with the action movie ‘Chirutha’ (2007), for which he was bagged the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut South. He gained nationwide recognition with SS Rajamouli's fantasy action movie, ‘Magadheera’ (2009) and since then there has been no looking back.

He won the hearts of the audience with his acting skills, dance prowess, and simplicity. His performance as freedom fighter Alluri Sitarama Raju in ‘RRR’ made him a global star and it speaks volumes of his capability.

Grandson of freedom fighter

Ram Charan’s maternal grandfather, Allu Rama Lingaiah, was a doctor and also actively involved in India’s freedom struggle. He was arrested by the British during the Quit India Moment.


Professionalism in stunts

Ram Charan’s hit action 'Dhruva', which was a remake of the Tamil movie ‘Thani Oruvan’, was released in 2016 and it showed extreme professionalism of the actor as he performed all the stunts in the film by himself.

Owns an Airline company

Ram Charan is the chairman of the airline company Turbo Megha Airways Pvt Ltd, which is a regional airline based out of Hyderabad. It even helps bigger airlines in ground handling services.

Acting school

Ram Charan did his acting course at Mumbai's Kishore Namit Kapoor's acting school. Superstars like Hrithik Roshan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Priyanka Chopra also attended the same acting school.

Entrepreneur and Philanthropist

Ram Charan is also an entrepreneur and philanthropist. He currently owns a polo team in Hyderabad, known as Ram Charan Hyderabad Polo Riding Club.
