Megastar Chiranjeevi-starrer 'Acharya' is the latest addition to the list of Telugu films which have postponed their release as India deals with a massive surge in Covid-19 cases.

The film which was earlier scheduled to release on February 4, will now release on April 1, on the occasion of Ugadi.

Taking to their Instagram handle on Sunday, the production banner unveiled a new poster from the film showcasing Chiranjeevi strutting in a fierce avatar with a stick in his hand.

Directed by Korata Siva, ‘Acharya’ also stars Chiranjeevi’s son actor Ram Charan, Pooja Hegde, Kajal Aggarwal and Sonu Sood in pivotal roles.

The film will clash at the box office with Mahesh Babu's ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’.
