The box office buzz around Vijay's latest film "Leo" continues as it stormed into the ₹200 crore club globally within just two days of its release.
According to Sacnilk.com, the film amassed a staggering ₹140 crore in India alone by its third day, with Saturday's collection standing at ₹40 crore.
The film's impressive box office performance was marked by a strong 76.25% Tamil occupancy and 57% Telugu occupancy, though Hindi theaters reported lower figures, ranging from 12 to 27%.
Internationally, trade analyst Manobala Vijaybalan confirmed the film's entry into the elite ₹200 crore club overseas.
However, he expressed concerns about Leo's future, emphasizing the crucial nature of the upcoming days for the movie's success, especially in overseas markets.
Directed by Lokesh Kanagraj, "Leo" stars Thalapathy Vijay in the lead role and also marks the Tamil debut of Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, known for his role in "KGF: Chapter 2."
Despite the film's success, there was a momentary setback for fans when the Leo audio event was unexpectedly canceled by the production firm, Seven Screen Studio.
This decision initially upset Vijay's fans, but their disappointment was alleviated after the release of the Leo movie trailer, which seemed to capture their excitement once again.
As the film continues its triumphant run at the box office, fans eagerly anticipate its future performance, both in India and on the global stage.
