Singer Chinmayi Sripaada has expressed her disappointment at Kamal Haasan backing the wrestlers' protest but not speaking up about the sexual harrassment in Tamil industry. Now, fellow singer Sona Mohapatra has extended her support to Chimayi and said she's 'sending love, healing, fighting spirit & strength'.

Sona tweeted, ‘Dearest @Chinmayi , sending love, healing, fighting spirit & strength , STRENGTH to you , today & always . To hell with the dim-wits who try & shame you.'

Chinmayi had reshared the veteran actor's tweet on the wrestlers' protest and raised a question on how can one trust politicians who speak for women’s safety while they ignore harassment right under their noses.
