Actor Shahid Kapoor is currently busy with the promotions of his forthcoming film ‘Bloody Daddy’ which releases on June 9. In a recent interview, he was asked why he is choosing these dark roles. The actor joked that he does them to take out his frustration on the sets rather than at home as he has been married for 8 years.
Indian Express quoted him as saying, ‘I have been married for eight years. I cannot take out frustration at home, so I go on the sets and take it out. [Web series] Farzi was a warm-up and now this (Bloody Daddy).’
‘Bloody Daddy’s trailer was released on Wednesday in which Shahid was seen doing some jaw-dropping stunts. The film also stars Ronit Roy, Sanjay Kapoor, Diana Penty and Rajeev Khandelwal.
Shahid married Mira Rajput in 2015. The couple has two children – daughter Misha Kapoor and son Zain Kapoor.
Earlier this year, Shahid made his OTT debut with Prime Video's ‘Farzi’. Directed by Raj and DK, it also starred Vijay Sethupathi and Raashii Khanna.
