Veteran actor Rekha made headlines after several reports claimed that she has been in a live-in relationship with her manager Farzana.
Now, Yasser Usman, the author of the biography 'Rekha: The Untold Story', has issued a statement on social media.
He said the quotes alleging 'live-in relationship' ascribed to his book are a complete fabrication, faslification, and misrepresentation evidently intended to create sensarionalism.
Usman continued that the quotes mentioned in the media articles are entirely absent from book. He said the phrases 'live-in relationship', 'hermetic existence' or 'biography claiming the relationship is sexual' have never been used.
He also said that these incorrect quotes are result of poor clickbait journalism.
Usman warned that if these quotes are not immediately rectified, he will not hestiate to pursue legal action against the publications responsible.
Sharing the statement, he also tweeted that it is despicable how clickbait journalism has an aversion towards verifying facts and they often target women.
