Mouni Roy gave social media reason for mid-week humour after she forgot to carry her passport to the Mumbai airport and was sent back by the security.
A video is doing rounds on the internet where the actor is seen being stopped at the airport gate by a security member after which she starts searching for something in her bag. The conversation is not audible but the security staff member is seen shaking his head. Mouni then turns to the paparazzi and says “Ho gaya (it’s done)”.
Mouni was not allowed to enter the airport without the passport.
Many poked fun at the actor on social media. One wrote, “Right no passport no entry”. "Brahmastra use kar lo (Use Brahmastra) @imouniroy" said another, referring to her movie which released last year.
Mouni was last seen in Ayan Mukerji's Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva as the antagonist Junoon. Film also starred Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan. She will next be seen in The Virgin Tree with Sanjay Dutt and Palak Tiwari.
