Megastar Mohanlal's electrifying dance performance to ‘Zinda Banda’ from the blockbuster ‘Jawan’ at a Kochi award show wowed the netizens. It also earned high praise from Shah Rukh Khan. Reacting to a viral video shared by a fan page, SRK expressed gratitude, wishing he could match Mohanlal's performance.

He wrote, ‘Thank you Mohanlal Sir for making this song the most special for me now. Wish I had done it half as good as you. Love you Sir and waiting for dinner at home as and when. You are the OG Zinda Banda.’

Mohanlal, in turn, appreciated SRK's words, calling him the original ‘Zinda Banda’ and suggesting they groove over breakfast, not just dinner.

‘Dear Shah Rukh Khan, nobody can do it like you! You are and always will be the OG Zinda Banda in your classic, inimitable style. Thanks for your kind words. Also, just dinner? Why not groove to some Zinda Banda over breakfast, too,’ read Mohanlal's post.

Mohanlal's dance was featured in a special performance at the 2024 Vanitha Film Awards. He wore a cheetah-printed shirt and brown leather pants, reminiscent of his retro style from ‘Jailer.’
