Mumbai, August 19 (PTI) – BookMyShow Live has officially announced the fourth edition of the widely celebrated multi-genre music festival, Lollapalooza India. The highly anticipated event is set to take place in Mumbai on January 24 and 25 next year.
Lollapalooza India is known for featuring an eclectic mix of artists hailing both from India and around the globe. The festival is brought to life by BookMyShow Live, the live entertainment division of BookMyShow, in collaboration with C3 Presents and Perry Farrell.
In previous editions, the festival has seen a diverse lineup including headliners such as AP Dhillon, DIVINE, Sting, OneRepublic, The Raghu Dixit Project, and Prabh Deep. The 2025 edition boasted performances by Shawn Mendes, Indian rapper Hanumankind, Green Day, and Louis Tomlinson, formerly of One Direction.
The upcoming edition is set to introduce several accessibility and sustainability measures. These include sign language interpreters, PWD risers, wheelchair-friendly layouts, safe spaces, unlimited water refill stations through free hydration stations, gender-neutral washrooms, waste segregation, and the presence of trained counselors and help desks.
The festival also aims to be child-friendly, with initiatives such as the “Tag Your Kid” program and the provision of protective earplugs. While the lineup remains unannounced, the press release promises a “genre-agnostic lineup and culture-shaping weekend” that aims to redefine expectations yet again.
Globally acclaimed, Lollapalooza festivals are hosted across various venues worldwide and have been a major cultural event since its establishment in 1991. The festival made its debut in India in 2023.
