Los Angeles, Sep 4 (PTI) — Pop icon Lady Gaga has postponed her "Mayhem Ball" concert scheduled in Miami, following a voice strain just before the show was set to begin.
The 39-year-old star took to her Instagram Stories to share the disappointing news, expressing in a heartfelt note her deep regret over the decision.
"I am really so so sorry, but I need to postpone tonight's show in Miami. During rehearsal last night and during vocal warm-up tonight, my voice was extremely strained," she explained.
According to Gaga, both her doctor and vocal coach strongly advised against proceeding with the performance due to the potential risk to her vocal health.
"I want to be hardcore and just push through this for you, but I don't want to risk long-term or permanent damage to my vocal cords," she candidly admitted.
She described the decision as both "hard and agonising," expressing hope that her fans could forgive the last-minute disruption.
"I tried so hard to avoid this. I take serious care of myself to be able to put on this highly demanding show," she added.
Reaching out to her loyal fans, Lady Gaga reassured them that the show would be rescheduled at the earliest opportunity.
The "Mayhem Ball" marks Gaga's eighth concert tour, launched in support of her 2025 album "Mayhem". The tour includes a total of 63 shows, commencing on July 16, 2025, in the United States and scheduled to wrap up on January 30, 2026, in Japan.
