V of BTS has added yet another feather to his cap. The BTS singer has become the third Asian soloist and 5th Asian to have his maximum number of songs surpass 300 million streams on Spotify. V is now tied with Bollywood singer Arijit Singh, who also has 4 songs that have crossed 300 million streams on the platform.

BTS star has broken the record as 4 of his songs have crossed 300 million streams. On top is ‘Love Me Again’, followed by ‘Christmas Tree’, ‘Sweet Night’ and ‘Slow Dancing’. While V’s ‘Love Me Again’ has more than 400 million streams, his ‘Christmas Tree’- the soundtrack for the K-drama ‘Our Beloved Summer’ was streamed over 380 million times. ‘Sweet Night’, which featured in the popular K-drama ‘Itaewon Class’, has over 363 streams, and ‘Slow Dancing’ has over 300 million streams.
First K-pop soloist to reach 17 million Spotify followers
Recently, V achieved another major milestone as he became the first solo artist in K-pop to hit 17 million followers on the music streaming platform Spotify.
V’s current activities
The BTS singer is currently performing his mandatory military service as a member of the military police special forces. He got enlisted in the military on December 11, 2023, leaving his scores of fans emotional.
