Chaeyoung from the K-pop group TWICE and R&B artist Zion. T are now confirmed to be in a relationship. Reports revealed that the couple has been dating for the past six months.
JYP Entertainment, the agency representing TWICE's Chaeyoung, officially confirmed the dating reports on April 5 and acknowledged that the two are in a relationship, stating that they are currently dating with mutual positive feelings and support for each other.
Chaeyoung's agency JYP Entertainment and Zion.T's The Black Label stated, ‘The two are dating with good feelings for each other.’
A Korean media outlet called SWAY reported that the two artists became a couple after being introduced by mutual friends.
This announcement follows recent reports linking TWICE member Jihyo to Olympic gold medalist Yun Sung Bin. While some fans may have been surprised by these relationships, there has been no sign of boycott or backlash from fans. This is in contrast to previous instances of dating news, such as Han So Hee-Ryu Jun Yeol and aespa’s Karina-Lee Jae Wook, which sparked controversy among fans.
Earlier an insider told the outlet, ‘Chaeyoung and Zion.T initially interacted as senior and junior colleagues before their relationship blossomed into a romantic one. Given that neither of them has a secretive or discrete personality, their close acquaintances are already well aware of their dating status.’
The R&B singer and Chaeyoung have been spotted on quiet dates in places like Hannam-Dong and Yeonhui-Dong, away from the public eye, to spend quality time together and get to know each other better. It's worth noting that there is a nine-year age gap between the two, with Chaeyoung set to turn 25 soon and Zion being 34.
