TWICE member Dahyun ready for her acting debut; to star in 'You Are the Apple of My Eye', 'Sprint'

TWICE's Dahyun is all set to embark on a new journey. According to recent K-media reports, the K-pop idol has bagged two back-to-back acting projects.  Dahyun is in talks to star as the main protagonist in the Korean remake of the Taiwanese film You Are the Apple of My Eye. Earlier, it was reported that the K-pop idol will feature in the sports drama 'Sprint'. With this, Dahyun has become the first member of TWICE to take up acting projects. 

Dahyun to star in 'You Are the Apple of My Eye'

According to an exclusive report from Xportnews, 'You Are the Apple of My Eye' is all set to have a Korean remake. TWICE's Dahyun has been cast as the female lead in the remake version and will play the equivalent role of Shen Chia-yi.

The coming-of-age romance drama was released in Taiwan in 2011 and became the third-highest-grossing film of the year. It chronicles the story of a troublesome boy whose life turns upside down after being seated next to one of the smartest girls in the class.

Currently preparing for 'Sprint' 

Earlier this month, South Korean media outlet Sports DongA reported that the singer has been approached to play the leading role in the independent feature film 'Sprint'. Confirming the reports, a source from TWICE'S label, JYP Entertainment, stated, "She has been cast for the project and is currently preparing for filming".
