Park Bo Young, who recently redefined her superstar status with the success of her critically acclaimed K-drama, 'Daily Dose of Sunshine', is returning for a new show from the makers of 'Moving'. The upcoming project, titled 'Light Shop', will star her opposite 'Kingdom' star, Joo Ji Hoon. As per reports, the K-drama, which is a brand new adaptation of a famous webtoon, will be penned by writer Kang Full. With Park's charm and Kang's exceptional writing, fans are already excited for the forthcoming K-drama.
Park Bo Young is all set to be a part of 'Light Shop', based on a webtoon named 'Shop of the Lamp'. Touted as a mystery thriller with a dash of horror, the K-drama will benefit from Bo Young's vast experience in the genre.
For 'Light Shop' Bo Young will team up with Joo Ji Hoon, who is known for his performances in dramas like 'Kingdom', 'Princess Hours', and 'Hyena', among others.
Upon completion, 'Light Shop' will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar. The drama will go on floors soon. It is expected to be released somewhere in the second half of 2024.
On January 19, the streaming service and production house announced the star-studded cast of the upcoming show, which includes Joo Ji Hoon, Park Bo Young, Bae Sung Woo, Uhm Tae Goo, Seolhyun, Lee Jung Eun, Kim Min Ha, Park Hyuk Kwon, Kim Dae Myung, Shin Eun Soo, Kim Sun Hwa, and Kim Ki Hae.
