K-pop singer Haesoo reportedly died by suicide at the age of 29. She was found dead in her hotel room and a suicide note was recovered as well. The news of her death came into light after a South Korean media outlet reported that they received calls from organisers stating that the singer won’t be attending the scheduled event as she has passed away.
The singer was scheduled to perform at the Gwanjumyeon People's Day event in Wanju Gun, Jeollabuk-do on May 20.
The reason why she reportedly ended her life is not known yet. However, police ruled out any possibility of foul play in the case.
Haesoo made her debut in 2019 with the single album ‘My Life, Me’. She gained recognition after her appearance in Gayo Stage, Hangout With Yoo, and The Trot Show where she left everyone mesmerised with her performance.
Haesoo was an avid social media user and she communicated with fans on daily basis.
Fans from around the world mourned the death of the young K-pop star.
