BTS' Jungkook has announced his new project amid his ongoing military service. The singer has also released a poster of this upcoming project, titled 'I AM STILL', on BTS' official page, leaving fans intrigued. While Jungkook has not released the type of content he'll be releasing, however; the caption suggests that it will soon be released in the theatres.
On Thursday (June 11), BTS' official social media handle posted a cryptic teaser image titled “Jung Kook: I Am Still.” The announcement of the project comes with the message: “Coming Soon to Cinemas!" leaving fans intrigued about the nature of the forthcoming project. Ever since the announcement was made, fans have been projecting many conspiracy theories; however, the majority believe that a solo Jungkook documentary film will be out soon. Previously, BTS' Suga and J-Hope have released their documentaries titled, 'SUGA: Agust D Tour D-Day the Movie' and 'Hope On The Street', respectively.
Jungkook and the other BTS members, Jin, RM, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, and V, are currently fulfilling their mandatory military service in South Korea, which requires all able-bodied men to enlist for 18 months before turning 28. Despite their service, some members have pursued solo projects, and the group plans to reunite for band activities in 2025.
