BLACKPINK's Jennie has penned a sweet note for fans after the conclusion of 'Apartment 404,' her first variety show appearance in 5 years. In her heartfelt letter, the singer-member expressed her heartfelt gratitude for fans' unwavering support while also promising to return with a better version of herself. The show also featured Yoo Jae-suk, Cha Tae-hyun, Lee Jung-ha, Oh Na-ara, and Yang Se-chan.
A translation of her note read, "Hello, it's me. The first broadcast for Apartment 404 felt like yesterday, but it's already ending now? I can't believe it's been 8 weeks already! I think time flies so fast. After every release of each episode, I read each and every one of Blinks' comments and supportive messages. Since it's been 5 years since I appeared on a variety show, I was worried but looking forward to it a lot, but I gained so much energy thanks to my Blinks! Thank you so much."
"Apartment 404 ends today, but I will come back with a better side of me, so please wait just a bit, then let's see each other soon," she concluded.
If reports are anything to go by, Jennie will be featured in Zico's comeback release, slated to drop on his 10th anniversary as a soloist. According to K-Media reports, Jennie has lent her vocals to the song and also stars in the music video for it. This would be her first feature with a Korean artist since her debut.
Recently, it was reported that Jennie would release her first studio album in June. However, her recently established agency, OA (The Odd Atelier), discarded the rumours, saying nothing has been finalised yet.
Since she departed from YG Entertainment for solo activities, fans have been anticipating Jennie's comeback. However, the singer has yet to confirm her return as a soloist.
