Amidst a messy power struggle between HYBE and ADOR CEO, reports claim that the HYBE label has replaced Min Hee Jin and appointed a new CEO along with a new management team.
Korean media outlets have reported that the BTS parent label has appointed a new management team along with a CEO for NewJeans management company ADOR amidst the feud with its current CEO. The reports suggest that management team of the HYBE subsidiary has completely been overhauled.
HYBE label holds an 80 percent stake in HYBE and the company is set to use its majority stakeholder card at the upcoming shareholders meeting. The label is expected to announce the result of its audit into ADOR. Even though Min Hee Jin currently remains the CEO, reports suggest that she may be forced to resign at the shareholders meeting.
For the unversed, it all began when HYBE detected alleged attempts by its subsidiary ADOR’s CEO to takeover and gain full independence of the company. This was followed by an audit on ADOR CEO and a counter press conference by her.
While HYBE is the parent label for multiple talent management companies, ADOR is one of its subsidiary. Several popular K-pop groups and artists including BTS, Seventeen, TxT and ENHYPEN come under HYBE. On the other hand, ADOR is the management company for K-pop group NewJeans.
