Kim Taehyung, aka V, of South Korean boyband BTS, recently surprised his fans when he made an appearance at a soccer game on March 31. The singer, who is currently serving in the mandatory military enlistment, was seen flashing his infectious smile as cameras panned at him to capture his captivating presence at the event. Dressed in his military uniform, the K-pop sensation attended Round 4 of the 2024 Hana Bank K League 1 soccer match.
V attended a match between Gangwon and FC Seo, and prior to kickoff, he appeared on the stadium's electronic display. With BTS's smash song Dynamite playing in the background, the crowd erupted in cheers upon seeing the BTS member, who had short hair and was dressed in his military uniform. At one point, he was also spotted rocking black glasses.
V began his military service with BTS leader RM in December last year. After completing their training at the Nonsan Training Centre with distinction, the two will proceed to carry out their assigned responsibilities at the training camp. The boy band's seven members are all active military personnel.
On the music front, V released his new single, titled 'FRI(END)S' on March 15. The music video for the song had him taking centre stage in a love story set across two parallel universes.
