BTS's Jungkook has found a way to stay connected on Instagram through his furry companion, Bam! After deactivating his personal account to focus on interacting with fans on Weverse, Jungkook surprised fans with a new Instagram account for Bam on April 14th. He also announced his presence on Weverse to connect further with fans. Currently, the Golden Crooner is fulfilling his mandatory military service in South Korea.
On Weverse, Jungkook wrote, ‘I can't brag about anything right now so I'm going to brag about my baby. Have a fun 'night' from now on, @bowwow_bam.’
Fans quickly caught on, and within hours, Bam's account surpassed 2.6 million followers. What's unique is that BTS's Jungkook decided to keep the comment section open for everyone to read and leave their messages. The Instagram account, @bowwow_bam, is likely managed by Jungkook himself, as the username is 'Bam's dad,' reflecting his affection for his furry friend.
The account has already posted seven photos showcasing Bam's charm - from striking poses like a model to playing with his human. However, a video featuring Jungkook with Bam, where his face isn't shown, has sparked speculation among fans that the singer might be on a short break from his military service. Speculation has been rampant, and since last night, 'Jungkook came home' has been trending on social media.
‘JUNGKOOK CAME HOME, TALKING ABOUT HIS BABY, BAM!!’ wrote a fan on social media. Another expressed, ‘We miss you so much, Kookie.’
Jungkook was the last member of BTS to begin South Korea's mandatory military service. He enlisted alongside fellow BTS member Jimin as part of a buddy enlistment program. Both singers of ‘Promise’ and ‘Euphoria’ joined the military together as companion soldiers, sparking anticipation for their return, expected around June 2025.
