BTS members RM, V, Jungkook, and Jimin are all set to enlist in mandatory military service on December 11-12. BIGHIT MUSIC confirmed the initiation of enrollment for all remaining band members. V and RM will reportedly enlist on December 11, followed by Jimin and Jungkook on December 12, 2023.
RM and V are anticipated to serve in supportive roles, while Jimin and Jungkook are expected to enlist together and serve on the front lines. They are projected to commence their duties on December 11-12 as described.
Previously, BIGHIT issued a statement stating, ‘We seek your enduring support and affection until the day RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook finish their military duty and come back in good health. Our unwavering backing and love for our artists will persist without fail.’
Additionally, after their training and unit deployments, The Indigo, Like Crazy, Layover, and Golden Crooners are scheduled to serve an 18-month active-duty period in the Army.
The K-pop group's agency confirmed the initiation process for the remaining members. When asked about the actual enlistment date, BIGHIT Music provided a brief statement, citing the challenge in verifying specifics at the moment.
The highly awaited trailer for BTS' docu-series, "BTS Monuments: Beyond The Star," debuted on November 29. This three-episode mini-series promises to chronicle the decade-long journey of BTS members, capturing their challenges, triumphs, and ascent to stardom.
