BTS' Jungkook dethrones Taylor Swift from No 1 position at the Billboard

BTS’ Jungkook is dominating the Billboard and has left behind the 'queen of Pop' Taylor Swift. BTS youngest member’s digital single, 'Standing Next To You,' has secured the No. 1 position on Billboard. 
 
According to Billboard's most recent sales figures, Jungkook has taken the top spot on the Billboard ranking-Digital Song Sales chart highlighting the best-selling individual tunes in the US. This has surpassed Taylor Swift's recent chart-topper, 'You're Losing Me,' and outperformed the runner-up, Jack Harlow's 'Lovin' on Me.' The track 'Standing Next To You,' is the lead song from Jungkook’s debut album, and it released on November 3. 

The track has sold 14,400 copies in past tracking frame and is the the sole song in America to breach the 10,000-copy mark this week. The lead track from 'GOLDEN', 'Standing Next To You,' debuted at No. 5 on the Hot 100. With the achievement, Jungkook has reaffirmed his status as global music icon. 
The members of BTS have all enlisted in the military and are scheduled to reunite in 2025.
