The news of BTS’ J-Hope beginning the process of enlisting for mandatory military service was confirmed recently. Now, Jin, who left for military service last year, returned briefly to Instagram and had a fun banter with J-Hope which somewhat cheered up the ARMY.
He started the conversation by writing, ‘Welcome…’ He then wrote to J-Hope saying, ‘Don’t think about making an eye contact because I’m a private first class and you’re private.’
Jin even schooled him on how to salute. Fans saw this as payback for the times J-Hope disciplined Jin while teaching him complex choreography.
‘They said angle of salute should be keep in line with your wrist and upper arm and raise it 30 degrees from the ground. You should keep your forearm 30 to 45degrees too,’ he said.
J-Hope replied, ‘You’re a tiger assistant trainer.’
J-Hope came on Live after the announcement of him enlisting soon was shared. The rapper-choreographer said that it wasn’t a ‘farewell’ yet, he’s still merely applied for the cancellation of postponement. He also revealed that Jin had called him from military camp and gave him some helpful tips. He concluded the Live, requesting his fans to trust him.
As a parting gift, J-Hope will release his solo single, titled ‘On The Street’, on March 2.
