BTS’ Jimin becomes first South Korean solo artist to top US songs chart; RM, J-Hope react

BTS member Jimin scripted history as he became the first South Korean solo artist to secure the number one spot on Billboard, the top US songs chart. His recently released single ‘Like Crazy’ topped Billboard’s Hot 100 this week, beating Miley Cyrus’s ‘Flowers’ which ruled the chart for eight weeks.

‘Like Crazy’ is part of Jimin’s debut solo album, ‘Face’. The song was released on March 24.

BTS leader RM and his fellow teammate J-Hope congratulated Jimin on their official Instagram accounts and mentioned that they are proud.

BTS also consists of Jin, Suga, V, and Jungkook. The eldest member Jin is in the military and J-Hope has announced his enlistment.
