Lisa of BLACKPINK recently made an exciting comeback with her new single, 'Rockstar'. To express her sincere gratitude, the Thai rapper penned a post on Instagram, which also saw her debuting her solo fandom name. She addressed her fans as 'Lillies'. In her post, she also teased new projects, asking fans to stay tuned for more updates.
Lisa took to her Instagram and shared a lengthy heartfelt post alongside a few new pictures of her 'ROCKSTAR' avatar. She also revealed that she spent quite some time and now that it's here, she's excited to see fans' response. Teasing that more is coming, the K-pop superstar assured Lillies that this is just the beginning.
"I’m so thrilled that I can finally share my new single ROCKSTAR with you guys. I’ve been working on this project for quite some time and I had so much fun while preparing this. Thank you for your patience and I’m really happy to celebrate this together with you all. Thank you @rcarecords and @wearelloud team for making this happen. Thank you Lilies for your love and support. It has been 3 years since my last song so I hope you guys enjoy ROCKSTAR era as much as I do. PS. This is just the start! A lot more coming so please stay tuned," Lisa wrote.
Lisa announced the launch of her own label, LLOUD, on February 8 following her departure from YG Entertainment to pursue solo activities. She also signed a solo partnership with RCA Records for her new music releases.
The rapper debuted in August 2016 as one of the four members of the South Korean girl group BLACKPINK. She later became a permanent cast member on the Korea Army Academy edition of the MBC military variety program Real Man 300 starting September 21, 2018. She is set to make her acting debut in ‘The White Lotus’ season 3, which is scheduled for release in early 2025.
