Jungkook, the lead vocalist and youngest member of the K-pop band BTS, allegedly received death threats after he apparently refused to consume food sent by excited fans on WeVerse. This had reportedly upset a few fans and one of them threatened to harm him.

However, Bighit Music and the singer are yet to confirm the same.

BTS fans took to Twitter to share news and urged Bighit Music to take action against social media accounts threatening Jungkook.

‘LEAVE JUNGKOOK ALONE. RESPECT JUNGKOOK. BIGHIT PROTECT JUNGKOOK. #ProtectJungkook,’ tweeted one user. Another commented, 'You must take action to ensure Jungkook's safety because the person who is sending him food knows where he lives and is now threatening to harm Jungkook. Your actors should not be harassed, so you should look out for their safety.'

Last year, BTS members Jimin and V aka Kim Taehyung had received death threats as well.
