Popular television actor Karan Veer Mehra emerged as the winner of Big Boss 18, defeating fellow TV star Vivian Dsena in the grand finale hosted by Salman Khan on Sunday night. Salman presented Mehra with the winner’s trophy and the prize money of ₹50 lakh.

Mehra, known for his roles in Shanno Ki Shaadi, Virrudh, Amrit Manthan, TV Biwi Aur Main, and Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, credited his family and fans for his victory. "I want to thank my family and the audience for their unwavering support. Winning on my father’s birthday makes it even more special," he said.

When asked about his plans for the prize money, Mehra shared his intention to support the education of his staff's children. He also expressed hopes that his stint on the show would open new opportunities for him in the industry, adding, "I won’t shy away from reaching out to producers for work."

Vivian Dsena, the first runner-up, took the loss in stride, saying, "I’m a positive person and grateful for the love I’ve received. Making it to the top two is an achievement in itself."

Fitness YouTuber Rajal Dalal secured the third spot, followed by TV actor Avinash Singh in fourth and North East contestant Chum Darang in fifth.

The grand finale featured Bollywood star Aamir Khan promoting his son Junaid Khan’s upcoming film Loveyapa, co-starring Khushi Kapoor.

The season, which began on October 6, also included notable contestants such as Shilpa Shirodkar, Chahat Pandey, Shrutika Arjun, Nyrraa Banerjee, Muskan Bamne, Alice Kaushik, and politician Tajindar Bagga. The show saw intense competition, but Mehra’s resilience and popularity ultimately led him to claim the coveted title.
