New Delhi, Sep 2 (PTI) – In an exciting debut, Oscar-winning musician Jon Batiste is all set to enchant Indian audiences with performances in Delhi and Mumbai.

The 38-year-old renowned composer is scheduled to perform in Delhi on November 24 at the Plenary Hall of the Bharat Mandapam Convention Centre, followed by a captivating show in Mumbai on November 26, as revealed in a press release.

Expressing his admiration for Indian music, Batiste remarked, "India’s musical spirit has always inspired me. I’m beyond thrilled to finally perform in Mumbai and Delhi. This tour is about sharing joy, stories, and sounds that bring us together, and I can’t wait to experience that magic with all of you in India."

The event is being produced and promoted by BookMyShow Live, the live entertainment arm of BookMyShow. Enthusiastic fans can start booking tickets as the pre-sale for the Delhi concert begins on Wednesday. The general ticket sales will open on Friday. Details regarding the ticket sales for the Mumbai show are yet to be announced.

Besides his Oscar win for composing Pixar’s "Soul", Jon Batiste is also celebrated as a seven-time Grammy award winner, marking his extraordinary contribution to music.

Following his Indian shows, Batiste will continue his tour, taking his musical journey to Kuwait on November 29.
