Jacqueline Fernandez marked Easter Sunday with a spiritual visit to Mumbai's Siddhivinayak Temple, where she was accompanied by Maye Musk, Elon Musk's mother. Their visit to the temple quickly became a topic of interest as photos surfaced on social media. Jacqueline donned a golden suit, modestly covering her head with a dupatta, while Maye appeared in a lively printed yellow suit. The pair were seen participating in prayers and receiving blessings from the temple priests.
Maye Musk's presence in India is part of her tour to launch the Hindi edition of her inspirational book, "A Woman Makes A Plan." Speaking about her temple visit, Jacqueline Fernandez expressed, "Visiting the temple with Maye was such a beautiful experience. Her book exemplifies the resilience of women and has personally enlightened me, reinforcing that age is merely a number and shouldn’t limit our dreams and ambitions."
This temple visit is among Jacqueline's first public appearances following the passing of her mother, Kim Fernandez, who sadly died on April 6 after suffering a stroke. Kim Fernandez, who lived in Manama, Bahrain, had previously experienced a similar medical emergency in 2022.
In another celebration of life, Maye Musk recently commemorated her 77th birthday with a private gathering of 40-50 guests in Mumbai.
Professionally, Jacqueline Fernandez is keeping busy. She recently appeared in "Fateh" and has a special dance sequence in Ajay Devgn's "Raid 2." Her upcoming projects also include "Welcome To The Jungle" and "Housefull 5."
