The year was 1999 and Donald Trump was considering running for president for the first time. During an interview, Trump was asked about his choice of a vice-presidential candidate. Even though it was way before he actually ran for the post, Trump named Oprah Winfrey, saying that the popular television host was his first choice.
That’s not all. Trump was all praise for Oprah. He called her a great and terrific woman, adding that she is somebody that’s very special.
Despite Trump’s initial admiration, Oprah does not hold great feelings for him. In the ongoing Presidential campaign, Oprah Winfrey has been rooting for Kamala Harris.
