Sydney Sweeney shares exciting 'Euphoria' Season 3 update, says 'It’s like home when I go back to it'

Sydney Sweeney isn't letting 'Madame Web' failure pull her down, as she announced her return to 'Euphoria' Season 3. Sydney, who plays the role of Cassie Howard in the show, has garnered critical acclaim for her performance, which also earned her an Emmy nomination.

During a recent chat with MTV’s Josh Horowitz, the actress was aked about her plans 'to take a little time off after all this madness' after a jam-packed schedule, which included her promotional trips around the globe for ‘Anyone but You,’ ‘Madame Web,’ and ‘Immaculate.’ Despite her recent release,Madame Web' garnering negative reviews, Sweeney is unstoppable, and next on her agenda is ilming for the upcoming season of Sam Levinson’s hit HBO series. “I go into ‘Euphoria,'" she mentioned. 

Additionally, she mentioned, “I always feel like I go home. It’s like home when I go back to it. I like it. I’m excited; it’s like family.” Sydney, who played Cassandra “Cassie” Howard, garnered unanimous acclaim for her performance, which also earned her an Emmy nomination.

About 'Euphoria' 

'Euphoria', directed by Sam Levinson, also features Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Eric Dane, Alexa Demie, Maude Apatow, Jacob Elordi, Nika King, Storm Reid, and Algee Smith. The teen drama debuted in 2019 to critical acclaim and returned for a second season in 2022. The wait for the third season seems incredibly long, given that the second season ended on a cliffhanger. With production beginning this year, 'Euphoria' Season 3 is expected to release in 2024.
