Days after Joe Jonas and his wife, ‘Games of Thrones’ star Sophie Turner announced their divorce, she was photographed stepping out to dinner in New York with singer Taylor Swift.
For the unversed, Swift famously dated Jonas in 2008.
For the night, Taylor donned a red dress and blue denim jacket, while Sophie looked stunning in a grey top and pants.
Fans found their NYC outing too exciting to ignore.
‘Not the ex-girlfriends getting together,’ commented one. ‘This photo makes me so happy! Girlfriends stepping up for each other must be celebrated,’ wrote another. ‘Oh don’t end that Jonas brother like that Taylor,’ a user commented.
Taylor Swift and Sophie Turner have often fangirled over each other on social media.
A source told Page Six that Swift and Turner enjoyed 'martinis with caviar bumps, which they seemed to love.' The two ordered the bar's mini martinis, as per the report.
The source added, 'They were having a fun time,' but they 'didn't stay long'.
Meanwhile, announcing their divorce, Joe and Sophie wrote, 'After four wonderful years of marriage, we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage. There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children,' it said.
