Singer Taylor Swift has donated $1,00,000 to the family of the woman killed during the shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl victory parade. The global pop sensation made two donations on the GoFundMe page.
Taylor Swift’s $1,00,000 donation
The Grammy award winner singer took to the Words of Support section of the page to pay her condolences and wrote, “Sending my deepest sympathies and condolences in the wake of your devastating loss. With love, Taylor Swift.” Including Taylor’s donation, victim Lisa’s GoFundMe has raised $1,94,798 funds so far.
Chiefs victory parade shooting
A mass shooting took place at the end of the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory parade on February 14th. While one woman lost her life, 21 others including 11 children were injured in the heartbreaking incident.
About the shooting victim
The victim of the shooting, Lisa, was a 43-year-old radio DJ. She is survived by two children and her husband, according to the fundraiser. She died at the spot during the brutal mass shooting. As per Variety, her son was also injured during the shooting.
Travis Kelce paid condolences
Heartbroken by the mass shooting, Taylor Swift’s boyfriend and Chief’s star Travis Kelce took to X to pay his condolences. The Chiefs' tight end wrote, “I am heartbroken over the tragedy that took place today. My heart is with all who came out to celebrate with us and have been affected. KC, you mean the world to me."
