Former One Direction singer Liam Payne was tragically found dead after falling from the balcony of his third-floor hotel room in Buenos Aires, Argentine police confirmed on October 16. The 31-year-old was staying in the city's Palermo neighborhood when police were called to the scene due to reports of an aggressive guest who appeared to be under the influence of drugs and alcohol.
According to a police statement, the hotel manager heard a loud noise at the back of the building and alerted authorities. Upon arrival, police discovered that Payne had fallen from his balcony into the hotel’s interior patio. Emergency responders quickly confirmed the British singer’s death.
