Michael B. Jordan was involved in an accident when his blue Ferrari collided with a parked car of a similar colour late on Saturday night in Los Angeles. TMZ reported the incident occurred around 11:30 pm, resulting in vehicle damage but no reported injuries.
The Los Angeles Police Department responded to the crash, finding no indications of the actor being under the influence of alcohol or any substance. The authorities allegedly did not conduct a field sobriety test.
According to reports, Michael B. Jordan hasn't provided an explanation to the authorities regarding the incident. Reports suggest he's been requested to complete the necessary police report online as part of the procedure.
The visuals of the two damaged cars have surfaced online. A video shows the actor's car in an absolutely bad state and it also shows one of the gold-rimmed tires far away from the car as it seemingly came off during the collision.
Michael's swanky ride was reportedly worth $430,000.
Michael B Jordan is best known for playing Oscar Grant in ‘Fruitvale Station’ (2013), boxer Adonis Creed in ‘Creed’ (2015), and Erik Killmonger in ‘Black Panther’ (2018), in Ryan Coogler's movies.
He recently reprised his role in ‘Creed III’ which was released in March 2023.
The sequel also marked his directorial debut in addition to backing the film.
Michael B. Jordan is set to collaborate again with director Ryan Coogler for the film ‘Wrong Answer,’ centered on the Atlanta Public Schools cheating scandal.
Additionally, he's involved in the second remake of ‘The Thomas Crown Affair’ and has a vampire movie titled ‘Blood Brothers’ in development.
His production company is working on an HBO Max series introducing a Black version of DC Comics' Superman, Val-Zod. Also, Jordan is producing the sequel to ‘I Am Legend,’ featuring actor Will Smith.
