Liam Payne’s ex-fiancée Maya Henry has become the target of online hate after the singer’s death. Maya and Liam were involved in a legal battle, and she had even sent him a cease-and-desist letter.
Maya recently claimed that Liam would often predict his death. She said that the singer would message her saying that he was not well and he was going to die. She called Payne’s texts a ‘manipulation tactic’.
She alleged that the One Direction singer engaged in obsessive behaviour and even contacted her mother when she didn’t respond. The influencer alleged that Liam’s actions had gotten much worse in the days leading up to his death.
In a statement to DailyMail.com, Maya’s representative revealed that she is ‘obviously in shock’ after Liam’s death. Maya and Liam began seeing each other in 2018, got engaged in 2020 and broke up in 2022.
