Hollywood star Kevin Costner and his wife Christine Baumgartner have called it quits after 18 years of marriage. Costner's representative confirmed the split in a statement to the media and said, ‘It is with great sadness that circumstances beyond his control have transpired which have resulted in Mr. Costner having to participate in a dissolution of marriage action.’ The representative also sought privacy as they navigate this difficult time.
Kevin and Christine reportedly filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences and have requested joint custody of their kids, Cayden, Hayes, and Grace.
Kevin Costner and Christine Baumgartner tied the knot in September 2004, after dating for six years. This was Kevin’s second marriage. He was earlier married to Cindy Silva from 1978-1994. Kevin has four other children from previous relationships.
